Despite several unplanned events necessitating clarification, Dr. Meeker remains committed to providing exceptional care across multiple facilities.

LifeServe Blood Center is partnering with local first responders across its service region for this year’s Battle of the Badges blood drive promotion, happening Monday, July 1-Saturday, July 6 (closed Thursday, July 4 for the holiday). Eligible blood donors can schedule an appointment at some of LifeServe’s Donor Centers and participating mobile blood drives, while voting for their favorite first responder group.

Iowa joins a list of several other states with individuals who have become sick, some in critical condition, after consuming Diamond Shruumz-brand products purchased through a retail store in eastern Iowa.Earlier this month, the FDA issued a warning to consumers about these products:Consumers should not eat, sell, or serve any flavor of Diamond Shruumz-brand Chocolate Bars, Cones, or Gummies, and should discard them.

Research conducted by Zero to Three (2016), found that parents need and want information and support. 80% of parents work to be better parents, and 69% of parents say if they knew more parenting strategies, they would use them. Despite this motivation, however, almost half of parents say they aren’t getting the support they need during times of stress.
